SYSPRO's Joan Rood a Finalist for “Women in Business” Award in Technology Category

SYSPRO a provider of best-of-breed enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for on-premise, cloud-based and mobile uses, announced today that SYSPRO USA Manager, Joan Rood, has been named a finalist in the 11th Annual Stevie Awards for “Women in Business.” The award recognizes the contribution of women to the success of an organization.
As a finalist, Rood will receive either a gold, silver or bronze “Stevie” in the category “Woman of the Year - Technology.” The awards will be presented on November 14, 2014, at a gala in New York City.
“We are extremely proud of Joan, who continues to apply her talents, knowledge and experience to enhance the SYSPRO ERP user experience. Rood is instrumental in applying ‘best practices’ into our implementation methodology and is a huge proponent of promoting the benefits of better product training and certification.”
Rood serves as implementation and training services manager for SYSPRO USA. She has spent more than 20 years at SYSPRO.
Rood was influential in the development of the award-winning STARS Implementation Methodology for the SYSPRO ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software product. STARS revolutionized ERP implementation by speeding software installation for customers while, at the same time, streamlining business processes, thus enabling the customer to realize a faster ROI and enhance customer service.
